It’s shaping up to be both an exciting and challenging season for the Mitcham Tigers in 2026.The off-season has been extremely productive for our football department. Not only have the majority of last year’s players recommitted to the club, but we’ve also been fortunate to welcome some outstanding new talent. By securing our existing list early, we were able to strategically target key areas we identified as vital to our continued on-field success. We’re looking forward to another big year and can’t wait to see you all throughout the 2026 season.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup — the largest tournament in history — runs from 11 June to 19 July 2026.
For the first time ever, the tournament will be jointly hosted by three nations: Canada, Mexico and the United States. The expanded competition will feature 48 teams battling it out across 16 host cities in what promises to be the biggest World Cup ever staged.
